Terroir Daronton Châteauneuf-du-Pape rolls in your mouth and lingers enough to invite the next sip. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, it is rich with ripe black fruits, warm spice, gentle oak, and tannins that feel polished rather than pushy. Decant it, pour it, enjoy it.

Rèmole Rosso from Marchesi Frescobaldi is an easy, food-friendly Tuscan red. Sangiovese-led, bright and juicy, with a touch of Cab Sauv for depth. Think red fruits laced with herbal freshness and soft spice, smooth tannins and a velvety finish. Poured at our Kaavu dinner. #italianwine #winetasting

Chutagi & wine for cold nights!

Chutagi is Ladakh’s comforting soupy pasta: fresh hand-made wheat pasta, root veggies, leafy greens, tender mutton, all simmered in a mildly spiced broth. Perfect with a fruit-forward new-world Pinot, Gamay, or Beaujolais.

Sunday #winedinner at Kaavu: a bright Côtes des Roses #rosé to start, a juicy Tuscan Rèmole Rosso through the middle, and a crisp Blackwood Park #Riesling to land the night. Each course found its match. Cheers to great cooking, fine #wine, and a bunch that knows how to enjoy both.

Tasted four amazing BIN Series #wines, including our favourite BIN 389, at the #Penfolds Masterclass led by Josh Yim!

#Donnafugata Anthìlia tastes like a coastal vacation—bright, expressive, and full of character (and effortlessly stylish). This Lucido-led #Sicilianwine brought fruity-floral notes, citrus zest, and soft minerality, pairing elegantly with anjeer kebab, murgh malai tikka, and jhinga dum nisha.

Roasted Brussels sprouts & seared lamb sound like an odd couple—one’s green & slightly bitter, the other rich & gamey. But together, they make sense, bringing caramelization & savory depth on the plate. Add a glass of #Chapoutier ‘s Bila-Haut #CôtesduRoussillon Villages to wash it down. Pure joy!

Unfiltered, moreish #Saperavi from #Georgia ’s Teliani Valley Winery 97 that paints everything it touches (tongue included!). Opaque, dark ruby-purple, bursting w/ intense ripe black fruits & baking spice, wood & tobacco hints. Juicy, acidic freshness ends w/ firm but beautifully integrated tannin.

Our take on Casarecce—loaded with baby octopus, eggplant, and olives, all simmered in a rich tomato sauce. It’s rustic, hearty, and ridiculously good with Taylor’s Jaraman Pinot Noir #redwine from Australia.

Pale salmon hues, bursting with berry-citrus aromas & finishing crisp w/ a whisper of minerality. Château Roubine’s La Vie en Rosé is endlessly refreshing!

And it proved to be the perfect sidekick to Armenian-style Qalagosh, the herby Jalapeño Chicken Sizzler & the flavor-packed Turkish Lahmacun.

Massolino’s #Barbera d’Alba captures everything we love about this grape—elegant, fruit-driven with a touch of savoriness & well-rounded with a rich texture. Paired with these Nizami classics at our previous wine lunch, it was a perfect match that left our guests floored!

Fiano, Southern Italy’s 2,000-year-old “bee’s grape,” is back in the spotlight.

Here’s Rivera’s Scariazzo Fiano from Puglia—full of character, texturally rich, and very versatile. A dream match with Nizami appetizers at our Angsana wine lunch. Have you tried this #wine yet?

Spuds got swagger!
Packed with smoky Goan choris, bell peppers, and melted cheddar, these #bakedpotatoes are big on flavor. This deserves a #wine that can keep up.

Our pick? A Cabernet Sauvignon, with fruit, structure, and smooth tannins in perfect balance. What would be yours? #winepairing

Last Sunday at Angsana, rain met serene greens as Chef Rahul’s Nizami plates and three fine wines — Massolino Barbera d’Alba, Rivera Scariazzo Fiano, and Haart to Heart Riesling — wove seamlessly into the moment. Food, #wine, weather: all in sync.

Smoked grilled chicken, hearty black-eyed pea stew, and soft focaccia for mopping up. This deserves a befitting sidekick.

Our pick: a citrus-kissed, fruity, floral Altano Douro Naturalmente #whitewine. Effortlessly good, and way more exciting.

An unmissable #Indian duo.

Myne Reserve Cab Sauv: a boutique red #wine that delivers everything you’d expect from a top-notch Cab.

Goan chouriço: smoky, spiced, tangy Indo-Portuguese classic. Toss it into a warm salad of quinoa, bell peppers & corn, pour a glass & enjoy.

Not every day calls for a grand cru. But a well-made, easy-going South of France sunshine with a 200+ year legacy? That’s a win.

Here’s #Calvet Varietals #Chardonnay — golden in the glass, fruity and expressive, with lemony citrus, mellow pineapple, and floral hints.

Velvety baked vanilla cheesecake with spiced orange compote, honeycomb, and pomegranate jewels already sounds delicious. Now pour Dr. Loosen’s ‘L’ #Riesling — an off-dry German classic — and this pairing becomes a head-nod that says: spot on!

A gentle reset.
Intentional bites, leisurely sips, soulful catch-ups — an evening unhurried, where you’re simply allowed to be.

That’s how we’d sum up our wine dinner at Travellers Bungalow.

A juicy, boisterous GSM from the Languedoc-based rebel brand @legrandnoirwines. Paired with Mangalore’s iconic Kori Ghassi and Pork Baffat at our wine dinner.

Who knew Mangalorean spice and French flair could get along so well?

Equal parts art and attitude, Fuerza from Jumilla region blends the big, bold Monastrell (primarily) and Cabernet Sauvignon into a powerful, expressive pour—surprisingly easy to drink. Ripe red fruits, smoky oak, and sweet, well-knit tannins—hard not to finish the bottle. #winetasting #EgoBodegas
