My new job is a huge shift from working at AWS. Not only do they actually treat me like a human, I was invited to an end of the year team celebration. It's been a long while since I've had a work outing. Wrapped it up with axe throwing and I'm not that bad at it.

Spent 3.8 hours diving into Arc Raiders today and I’m hooked. Still rocking the free kits while I get my bearings, but making good progress. Reached level 4, leveled up Scrappy the Rooster to level 2, and built all but one crafting station. Loving the game flow so far!

Nope, no gaming tonight. I'm way too exhausted to play anything with PvP in it tonight. Arc Raiders will wait for tomorrow. Instead, I'm going to watch the 2018 Halloween.

I had a nice day yesterday visiting with family and getting shopping done for my work office. Especially nice getting to hang out with this angel. I'm not a huge dog person, but my father-in-law's new dog is the sweetest.

To celebrate my new job, I decided it was time to finally upgrade my GeForce RTX 2060 Super. I'm so playing Cyberpunk 2077 after I get this installed.

My wife and I finally finished the campaign for Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion. Only took several months with a long break in the middle. Next up for board games, Gloomhaven 2nd Edition! Time to crack open this almost 30 pound box.

With Halloween coming up, I'm in the mood for some spooky entertainment. It's been a while since I've played a game like this, and I started off with Dead Take. Creepy, some good jump scares, amazing cast, and a lot of fun. Really glad I picked this up.

My wife and I have been playing so much Dune Awakening together, she finally has the itch to watch the movies. Starting with the 1984 version before we watch the newest ones.

Another busy weekend of chores, but taking a break to play some more Dune Awakening. Working on moving my base to a regular sub-fief so I can avoid taxes. Basic, but it has what I need.

I had an amazing trip to Michigan last week to visit my wife's family. Took some great shots from Cedar Lake where I stayed. Much needed week off.

Excited this came in. First printing of the revised 2nd Edition of Gloomhaven. I just didn't expect the box to weigh 28 lbs.

I had a lot of fun watching EVO 2025 Las Vegas. It was a busy weekend, so I didn't watch as much as I wanted, but I got to catch most of the bigger highlights.
Also, watching it made me cave and buy the Year 3 Character Pass for Street Fighter 6. I'm really excited to try out Sagat tomorrow.

I'm all for a free upgrade for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, especially with cross platform play getting added.
