Botanist, worried about all the good things worth protecting. There’s a fight ahead; we need to be gentle with ourselves and each other so we can have the energy we’ll need. We also need more of us to be COVID safe. They’re coming for our health.
Where are you getting your test kits? We are down to our last one and Altruan will not ship to the US anymore.

Stay strong! I’ve got lupus too and mask in public. I think people don’t like the reminder that things shouldn’t have gone back to normal, because COVID is still here. We are the ones paying attention to the research & unfortunately the more research there is, the more correct we are to be careful.

Well, COVID causes brain damage, quite possibly every time we catch it. That adds up year after year. The less cautious you get, the more you catch COVID, the worse your brain function. It’s a bad cycle.

There are several of these being studied right now. An American one, was super promising, but I think it lost funding with the current regime. However, there’s one in Spain, another in France and Japan. The Japanese one is I think in human trials. We may get out of this mess eventually.

The thesis of the book is that early COVID lockdowns weren't worth it and mid-COVID mitigation measures like masks, contact tracing and business closures don't work.

This is laughably false and the authors have endorsed the people now running Trump's HHS.

Yes, @weeklyshowpodcast.bsky.social because it looks like vaccines, while great at keeping us from severe covid infections, they don’t appear to stop long covid & they don’t stop brain damage or long-term lowering of immune system. I’ve tried to find research to say otherwise, but cannot. Can you?

Anything new about long covid in vaccinated vs unvaccinated?

What a disappointment @governorferguson.bsky.social is turning out to be. Without a livable planet, there is no point to anything else. Climate has to become the highest priority, it’s obvious.

I doubt she does anything. They have servants that do their laundry. He’s pretending they are people who do their own laundry.

I think so too. All the very cautious people who I know, threw caution to the wind after catching covid. They masked everywhere, but after they caught it, it was like wearing a mask stopped making sense to them. Like Covid makes you want to catch it.

Please help boycott Amazon. Walmart, Target and Home Depot. All enabling Trump extremism. Tell your friends. Thanks!
