Guessing the nurse needed to? It came off playground equipment & was a big splinter. I kept my student calm, helped steady their hand as someone worked to get it out, and I had their sibling nearby to help keep them calm. I sewed, so one of my sewing needles was sterilized. It worked out in the end.

This place made me not want to teach at a school again. I was treated horribly and had terrible pay. I'm fine with tutoring or activities at events.

I saw someone post a teaching horror story. Mine includes assisting in removing a splinter, a kid sitting on fire ants, another split their chin open, and entitled parents. I have a story that involves sending toy whistles and chocolate home with kids on the last day the school was open.

I dropped off the Strat (plate was damaged from screws adjusted too tightly from strings added and the nobs need to be cleaned out) and the 12-string acoustic (damaged bridge and braces, and the saddle is very chipped). Looking forward to seeing both be playable again.
