When Bobb has played recently, it's been on the wing, holding the width. He's best when closer to the penalty, in small spaces playing shorter passes. Only with regular games will we see if he's at City's first team level.

Savinho has had regular first team football & we can see his pros & cons. Bobb is potentially much better in terms of end product. You can tell by the calibre of clubs looking at him.

Bobb was the outstanding talent of his age group & needs regular first team football before we can tell if he's good enough for our first team. To agree a permanent fee before that has strong echoes of the mistake made with Cole Palmer.

It was assumed Cherki would be the one to take over the creative responsibilities from de Bruyne, so it's going to be interesting to see how Pep fits Cherki & Foden in the same team. As a pair of 8s, that would surely leave too much defensive work on the 6.

Within Pep's team structure, Pep used to allow de Bruyne the most freedom to roam & create as he was the main man. This season that's been Foden & he's looking great again, even if the goals & assists aren't there yet.
