I known the tax % is different in every country, but putting a good 1/4th or (even better in some places) 1/3rd of anything you make to the side for taxes is a very smart move

FREELANCER TIP: THE 25% RULE!
The MOMENT payment hits your bank account, calculate 25% of the value of the invoice and then transfer that amount immediately to a savings account and DO NOT TOUCH IT. THAT'S FOR TAXES. Then pay yourself the remaining 75%. Account for this when determining rates!!!

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

Ladies, gents, and corporeal souls I would like to announce that Mr. Persimmon Fig has finally pooped after around 36 hours. And feels loads better. His hydration has come way up and he’s being very much more active and kitten-ish. He’s not spicy despite finding him outside and is SO SWEET.

The lines are getting clogged from calls and Mastercard is feeling very pressured, they're looking into how to act in response. They're collecting information on callers to have a better understanding of who is calling in re the censorship issue
