Managing to clear the Gym Leader Castle in Pokemon Stadium 2 with a rental team.

At the time, I hadn't the slightest idea how big of an achievement that was. Most folks brought in the Pokemon from their games.

Seeing discussions about it, honestly the biggest things they could announce are either some big paid DLC episode similar to The Answer in P3R or a Switch 2 version.

Not a re-release in the style of P5R, though. There would be riots if that happened.

To think we're a few days away from the 1 year anniversary of Metaphor Re:Fantazio.

There was going to be a special livestream of the game on the 10th, where a "special message" would be announced. Too soon for a sequel, right? Maybe we'll be hearing about some anime adaptation?

Yeah, people are already making comparisons in terms of story and graphics. But even if they say Digimon wins in all other fields, Pokemon will never die.

And I say this as a fan of both. Pokemon will never disappear, that is pure fact.

Day 13: Game With Fantastic Writing

Persona 4 / Persona 4 Golden.

Technically two titles but also one if you think about it. But the Persona games are just so well written in general. The murder mystery aspect is so thrilling, and I really love the moral dilemmas this game puts you through.

Sonic and Digimon seem to be doing well with audiences, but they won't have the sale numbers that Mario and Pokemon will. That's just fact - the latter two have been major IP for years and they are going to sell.

Personally speaking, I'm just happy the former two are getting props and recognition.

Now that Digimon Time Stranger is out and a lot of people are enjoying it, naturally, the comparisons to Pokemon are popping up here and there. It still feels like tiny little trickles of discussion, though.

I imagine these talks will be coming in full force once Legends ZA releases.

It's kinda the exact same situation with Digimon / Pokemon. The rivals won't sell more, but so far people seem to be pretty vocal in their enjoyment of them.

Though their are also some that are just enjoying their two cakes.
