Sheree Bekker attempts to eradicate female sport, and replace it with mixed sex sport, through contorted, ideological, logic.

Women's sport is a protected category. Men's sport best thought of as open to all. Noone is excluded.

Next they will argue that children's sport is oppressive.
This is a fantastic book and very very topical as it argues that so-called protected spaces are often segregated spaces

Girls need single-sex spaces for healthy maturation and body acceptance. Prioritising the adult social construct of gender over children’s needs introduces confusion and shame. We must protect biological boundaries for safeguarding and psychological safety.

Gender fluidity, on the other hand, can be a way of refusing to settle on one sexuality or identity. Adding a label to doubt rather than embracing evolving exploration of identity, as an adolescent, is also a fixed - protective - belief.

While biological sex is immutable, our identities are both fluid and often conflictual. Adolescents, as a normal part of development, shift between different masculine and feminine identities. Fixing an identity rigidly may be a way of denying doubt and confusion, and is often based on stereotypes.
