Mike Johnson on Trump calling for Rs to "nationalize" elections: "We had 3 Republicans who were ahead on election day in last cycle & every time a new tranche of ballots came in they just magically whittled away until their leads were lost. It looks on its face to be fraudulent. Can I prove it? No"

You may be a proud black man, but when you get tears in your eyes talking about how much you love your grandma? All the women in the room will say "awwww" and one of them will call you a sweetie baby. Those are just the rules. They can't be changed. #FindingYourRoots

Suspicion confirmed: Some of his supporters voted in 2024, considered their civic duty done, and now pay as little attention as possible to current events. The opposite of extremely online.

When I was younger I didn't give George H W enough credit for drop-kicking David Duke's candidacy. I took it for granted, as a matter of civic decency. The Fairness Doctrine wasn't repealed until a few months later. It's a different political media landscape now & it has changed the United States.
Trump brags about his shakedown of major law firms: "We have a lot of law firms that have paid me a lot of money... they paid $100m on average... hopefully I won't need that many legal fees. I may. Who knows? After it ends. After I leave maybe I'll need it, but if I do it won't be very pleasant."
