Sickening brutality & fatalities will continue without independent scrutiny & Congressional action & reform. Internal investigation alone is blatantly inadequate.

My PSI investigation of ICE agent brutal assaults & detention of hundreds of U.S. citizens shows a pattern of abuse & excess that must be stopped. The Minneapolis tragedy was predictable & preventable.

I also join them in demanding justice & accountability for this American killed by an ICE agent; for this community, which has been terrorized by lawless immigration agents; & for our country, which deserves a gov't that follows the law & abides by the basic values of our Constitution. 3

There appears to be no clear justification or exit strategy.
Trump is seemingly conducting a continuing military operation not a law enforcement action. Maduro is in custody, but an American armada remains poised to invade again.
They must come to Congress for approval.

CT is right to stand up to the administration’s blatant power grab. States should be free to run their own elections & there is no evidence that voter fraud is a widespread issue. I am hopeful the courts will judge this lawsuit for what it is—meritless.

Do not forget: Police were brutally attacked, injured & killed, doing their job to enable a peaceful democratic transition of power. They still bear the scars. So does democracy. 2/

Trump cavalierly risks our owning chaos & conflict, American troops in harm’s way, spiraling internal instability, another endless war. It seems to be all about the oil & personal vanity. All without Congressional approval.
