Jack Grealish completes Everton loan move
Jack Grealish has completed his season-long loan move to Everton from Manchester City.An option to buy in the region of £50million ($67.3m) will be included for a player who City bought from a British player record fee of £100million, on a six-year deal, in 2021 from Aston Villa.“I'm over the moon to have signed for Everton. It's massive for me, honestly. This is a great club, with great fans,” Grealish told Everton media.“As soon as I spoke to the manager, I knew there was only one place that I wanted to go. On social media, I've been flooded with messages from Everton supporters. That's another reason why I chose Everton.”The 29-year-old will wear the No. 18 shirt at Everton.“There were other numbers but my two favourite English players ever are Wayne Rooney and Paul Gascoigne and I know they both wore number 18 here,” Grealish said.“I spoke to Wayne before I came here and I mentioned that to him — about the number 18 — so I hope he's happy as well!”Grealish has won the Premier League three times with City, as well as the Champions League, FA Cup and the Club World Cup. He made 50 appearances in the 2022-23 campaign as City won the treble, starting every knockout game in the Champions League.Grealish made only 16 starts in all competitions last season and just seven in the Premier League.

Today’s events at Headingley were very funny indeed.
I just hope England have saved some of this extreme banter for when it matters properly in November.
