It’s on the @anirudh.fi backlog to have a “find my bsky follows” function.

Which as a product is a good hypothesis of what to try.

Although “follows” unlikely a key metric for Tangled. And isn’t really for GitHub either, especially since they do very little with that, versus star or subscribe.

Verification. So bsky labels an account as a verifier, and that account needs tooling to manage the verifications it hands out.

Yep. Political parties at various levels of government - municipal, province, federal etc - as well.

And so so crystal clear that the IT department is up to the task of handling DNS…

It was pretty enlightening to me when I attended a primarily academic event about AI and only very gradually realized almost no one present had actually even opened one of the current tools for like, five minutes

Nope, doesn’t exist as AFAICT.

I’m probably going to go back and ask my verification to be deleted in favour of a community run verifier. Which could very much use a tool as you describe.

As well as every newsroom.

Human scale coordination is the hard part to date.

I read this as not constrained by raw “horsepower” of fingers typing at keyboards across multiple teams.

Yeah maybe, if it weren’t in the Bluesky namespace. But this is just preference of both you as an individual and a style of app. We want to leave room for people to experiment.

I’m really glad that we can learn from @sprk.so @tangled.org & @grain.social who are trying separate graphs.

Yes, many things are planned for EuroSky @eurosky.social - you can read more on the website www.eurosky.social

yep! Lots of future paths opening up...

Yep. This is hard mode. But getting calcified on just the bsky social graph lexicons is also not great.

Agreed on import.

Feels like experiments around this that are very much not social content would be good.

Thanks for joining us!

I wish things were further along. Including that like … an EU account could be a verifier, and do these verifications itself rather than bsky doing the verifications.

But here we are and this can be migrated in the future.

I can recommend deSEC for DNS hosting (open source based out of Germany) desec.io

But I don’t have a registrar recommendation yet.
