I just blocked the account of #barackobama because the place of maximum suckage we currently are in was aided and abetted by him.

Let’s be clear. #Diehard is not a Christmas movie. It takes place during the Christmas season but – and this is important – Christmas movies involve a certain sentiment, a celebration of the day. That’s not what Die Hard is about.

I wouldn’t quite call #jakepaul getting his face rearranged by #anthonyjoshua a gift – but working folk can’t be choosers. #schadenfreude.

‘The Strangers, Chapter 2’ is a really odd movie at points. For instance the protagonist, Maya (Madelaine Petsch) has to fight a wild boar (!?) as if three serial killers weren’t quite enough.

One of the most fascinating things about American-style capitalism isn’t that the rich and powerful are all in but that the working people, as well as the poor and hungry, are as well as which is interesting because the latter groups are constantly receiving the shitty end of the stick.

Only Americans think Trump is a one-off, an outlier. He's not. To this 47yo Australian, Trump is simply the ultimate example of everything America and Americans are and represent.

Uneducated, bloviated, fucking idiots. Trump isn't an unusual American, he's just a good example of every single Yank.

Mark my words. #Democratic supporters are gonna play more ‘lesser evil’ BS when its time for Trump to leave office. They answer to the same people as he does though, so they’re not gonna really do anything to make anything better.

Though they will talk about it a lot though.
December 24, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Remember the excuses Democrats and their supporters made for why we can’t have #singlepayer #medicareforall? What about the words of convenience supported/started by Democrats!?

Don’t waste my time telling me Democrats are better than Republicans because they both suck.

To all the people who complain about how terrible #Trump is: Sure, he’s awful now tell me when you spoke up when Democratic Presidents were just as terrible. They might lie/pander more convincingly but at the end of the day they’re little different. So why aren’t you speaking up about them?

Just watched ‘Night Swim’ and it’s a much better movie than you’d think. Very well-written and acted though more disturbing at points than scary.

It shouldn’t have to be said: #republicans have always been terrible. That’s not the problem. The problem is that the #democrats are not an opposition party and in fact, seem to agree - if their reactions are to be believed - with a lot of the stuff that the Republicans do.

I'm sad to admit that I've too connected #christmas to consumerism to enjoy the holiday. That's my fault though when you live in a country that treats the market as a god, disengagement is the only logical, never mind sane, response.

I hate to say it… but maybe if black and brown people were doing more of the random shootings going on in the United States our elected representatives would be doing a hell of a lot more to stop it?

So many pundits seem to complain about people being under or misinformed, yet they never seem to connect that to many news sources being hidden behind paywalls.

If you come upon a person, no matter their gender, that you haven't seen in awhile DO NOT comment on their age and how old you think they are. It's weird, tacky and off-putting.

Why do people in media think I care what some person I've never met – and likely never will – thinks about virtually anything? Jeremy Allen White is a good actor, but his views on pizza? Don't give a damn.
