The best case scenario is that Trump will waste $38 billion. The more likely outcome is that these will become warehouses of human suffering, and a permanent stain on America's history.
Breaking news: ICE expects to spend $38.3 billion on its plan to acquire warehouses across the U.S. and retrofit them into immigrant detention centers that can hold tens of thousands of people, according to agency documents.

I asked Secretary Noem a simple yes or no question: “Do you believe the Constitution guarantees everyone in our country the right to due process?” She couldn’t give me a straight answer.

When my daughter was born, I lived near the MDC in Brooklyn, and we used to there at least three or four times a week because there was a Buy Buy Baby right next door where we got all of her diapers and formula and baby supplies. My newborn was right here, like, every day.
This is insane response to a religious event outside the MDC

My uncle went through med school via the Army. He served at Walter Reed and traveled the world vaccinating children.

This is the stupidest ROI calculation ever.
Hundreds of incoming medical students that were planning to join the military through the HPSP scholarship program attend these schools. We don’t fill all of the available scholarship slots as it is. This policy would create lasting harm to the military health system.

Trump’s administration will never go to war with Russia. He can’t even bring himself to pressure Putin by offering Ukraine real security guarantees, so we don’t have any, and right now they’re worth nothing.

His team keeps repeating, “Don’t rely on America.” Well… unfortunately, there you have it.
Donald Trump said Russia wants to make a deal and that President Zelensky must start acting or risk losing a great opportunity. He stressed that Zelensky needs to move forward on the issue.

Listen Donny. Zelensky doesn't need to do anything. And specifically not listen to a traitor.
