Some sort of cream or cheese sauce? I’m not 100% sure , but when I blow the image up, the shape looks more like cauliflower than lumpy mashed potatoes.

Pretty sure it’s cauliflower.

The assertion that this was Lewis’ preference was bunk. What happened was a young reader sent Lewis a letter suggesting the books be read in chronological order and Lewis, being a kind gentleman and not an internet troll, replied that it seemed like a splendid idea.

Well, Lucy was five years younger than Peter and was 7 or 8 in the first book, so a sword would have been a bit much even for the Narnia books. Lewis did make up for it by having grown-up Lucy be a warrior.

Despite the propensity to link Lewis to Tolkien, Narnia has a lot more in common with Neverland than with Middle Earth. If you read a biography of Lewis, you get the idea Lewis took everything he loved as a child and threw it into Narnia.

I just finished it and I would say that this series is better than Physical 100. The team nature of the games mean half the contestants aren't knocked out after two episodes and there's strategy in picking the right team member for the challenges.
