And the only way they ever got to make that book into a movie was that they did it in 1940, before WWII and about a decade before America decided there was "a Red under every bed!" But they did it and it's Out There forever:

And yeah, guys, your unfuckability is on you. The minimum requirements are someone who bathes and does laundry, doesn't flake on commitments, doesn't cheat, and can discuss *anything* besides themselves. That's a really low bar and anyone who says they can't meet it should be ashamed.
