BMW enthusiast and tech nerd. Posting pictures of my own BMW and other cars, and I usually try to write up an interesting story to go with each picture.

Wow, that's a great device. Getting WiFi capabilities has usually been a challenge for the older ThinkPads where I've tried running Linux with a web browser.

I had such a great time, and got to see some of my dream cars. 😀 All thanks to you. 🥰

This is so great, thanks for doing this. 🥰 An E36 bed, I see now what I should have done with the E39 Touring we had sitting. 😅

Yeah, my only knowledge of the Kool aid man was of a jar with limbs and a face, containing red drinkable stuff, bursting through a wall in ancient commercials. So I also assumed that a wrestler breaking through a wall was a product of that same era. 😅

You have no idea how much I've enjoyed my days off with a wife that has time off from work too. 😀

That was such a disappointment. 😥 But it was my own fault, I didn't read the description good enough. "Language: French". Despite being sold by an eBay store in the UK. But.. 5 minutes after opening it, my English copy was ordered. 😀

Off topic, but long time since I've seen GI Joe now. I love those remakes that came years ago, with the 'You not cooking' and 'Hey kid, I'm a computer' ones. 😄

"From one thousand nine hundred and fifty eight to one thousand nine hundred and sixty two xxxx took place" I didn't even understand what happened at first, until I realized that this was an artificial voice, and no one had taught it how to deal with reading years out loud. 😅

plus he held a grudge against Dyatlov. Btw, the jumping fuel rod caps didn't happen either. I've never understood how that could be true. And that also seems to be a "good story" from his book. Perevozchenko could *not* see this and then make it back to Control Room 4 before the reactor blew up. 😬

Busted again. But I've been watching That Chernobyl Guy, and bits fall into place. It unveils a story on how Gregory Medvedev wrote a in his book about how Anatoly Dyatlov behaved, which is contradicted my many witness statements. Why? Because he was an author that made a good sellable book, 1/

She claims to be totally unknowledgeable, but when I travelled from the US back in the days, she claimed to have "seen me land" 15 minutes too late. Ok, how? I asked. Well, she had figured out that Text-TV had their own page for international flight arrivals and their landing time. 😅

next to an X". Put the arrow over the square and click, I said. Silence, and a gasp of astonishment from her. "Oh wow, it's big again. How do you know all this from the top of your head?" That's when temptation became too big, and I replied "It's because I'm smart." 😅 Yes, it must be, she replied. 😅

me and said it was a "poster" (her word for pop-up window) across half her screen. From the description I eventually realized this was her browser that was minimized to half size. So we worked our way up and to the right, with her describing what she saw, and we finally made it to a "tiny square 2/

I don't think so, except this was the late 40's, so jet engines was overall still something new. This was the Allison J35, which was the US' first axial flow jet engine.
