Setting the record straight here:

1. NO ONE earning over $500,000 annually gets an ACA tax credit.

2. Undocumented immigrants are NOT eligible for ACA tax credits.

3. If Republicans do not pass an extension of ACA tax credits, premiums will rise by 114 percent next year.

Proud to stand with my Virginia colleagues against the White House’s bogus threat to deny furloughed federal workers back pay.

The law is clear: back pay is guaranteed.

Families can’t be used as pawns in Trump & Vought’s shutdown.

Today marks two years since Hamas’ barbaric attack on Israel. As we remember the victims and their families, we renew our call for a permanent ceasefire that ensures the release of the hostages and brings relief to civilians in Gaza.

Donald Trump signed the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act in 2019. The law is clear: furloughed workers are to receive backpay at the conclusion of a government shutdown.

Our federal workers provide invaluable services to the American people despite the Administration's contempt for them.

A draft White House memo, reported by Axios, reinterprets the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act, or GEFTA, to stiff federal workers on furlough amid the longest shutdown in U.S. history. trib.al/fWCjnLQ

Nobody believes this.

And House Republicans have been on vacation since September 19th.

Mike Johnson: "Let me look right into the camera and tell you very clearly: Republicans are the ones concerned about healthcare. Republicans are the party working around the clock everyday to fix healthcare. This is not talking points for us: we've done it."

A new report shows that health care premiums will more than double if Republicans allow the Affordable Care Act's tax credits to expire.

Democrats are fighting to open the government and lower health care costs.

The GOP currently controls the White House, the Senate, & the House. It is incumbent on them to govern responsibly & end their shutdown.

Democrats returned to Washington this past week. We remain ready to negotiate a bipartisan funding solution that protects the health care of the American people.

House Republicans announced they will be on an extended vacation next week, despite the government having been shut down since October 1st. They have been on vacation since September 19th and appear to have no interest in ending this shutdown for the American people.

🚨🚨The House reading clerk just read a letter from House Speaker Mike Johnson where he declares a 'District Work Period' from October 7 to October 13.

That would mean no votes in the House until mid-month.

Just because the Trump Administration does not measure the impact of its policies does not mean the harm will go away.

Americans know the truth.

Costs are going up, it is harder to find work, and the President’s policies are the cause. www.wsj.com/economy/jobs...

The Trump Administration is threatening to unnecessarily cut WIC benefits — taking away food and resources from pregnant women and infants — while making sure construction continues on their $200 million ballroom during the government shutdown.

Got it. Cool move, guys.

Republicans clearly flunked civics in high school.

Undocumented immigrants CAN'T get Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare tax credits. It’s against the law.

These guys lie because the facts are not on their side.

Instead of working with Democrats on a bipartisan spending bill, House Republicans have left town.

Government funding runs out in just FIVE days.

If the government shuts down, it will be on Republicans.
