No, it's dumb. Yard signs are how supporters of a candidate identify each other, which is key to getting people organized
and cementing buy-in from supporters. Consultants look at the wrong metrics and conclude they are useless.

So the strength of the rejection at least was a surprise to me. I think the previous votes were a lot closer. Maybe the prospect that a casino is going to be pushing out the movie theater put voters in an anti-gambling mood.
