All of which to say, thoroughly agreed. 2 years going in the bin after the World Cup with Gatland's zombie era and Sherrat's (valiant, imo) firefighting wasn't ideal but a bit of patience and some experience together trying to build something and Wales can absolutely get back among the world top 10.

Also, these things change fast. 7 of the Italy 23 which was splattered at home by Wales in 2021 beat Australia this weekend. Another 5 are still squad regulars. Wales now are miles ahead of where that Italy team was in raw talent: Morse, Edwards, Jenkins, the entire Scarlets back line, etc etc.

As someone who think Wales will be somewhere approaching fine in the next ~18 months, all this looks like to me is a team devoid of confidence who haven't had the time to learn a new system yet. This is fixable because despite everything, Wales do have plenty of good young players who can improve.

So you conclude what every country that's gone down this road has concluded. They're not even human, legally, at this point, so you turn your concentration camps into death camps, and the issue solves itself. Well done Katie Lam. You've made yourself a culturally coherent nation once again.

Even if you find another Rwanda to take them, flying millions of people there is expensive. So is housing them, even in squalor, until they're removed. Strip them of their assets to help pay for it, but you'll still end up with a very large bill. Another solution, shall we say, will be needed.

But deporting millions of people is an expensive business. And even if you save some money by eliminating their right to challenge their removal through the courts and render them unpeople, it's still likely that the countries that you wanted to send them "home" to will refuse them entry.

And yes, there's millions of them, but if we want a country that's 'culturally coherent' that's also a price worth paying. We'll find them, and we'll put them somewhere we can control their movements before they're deported, which they will be. Oh, look, we've reinvented concentration camps!

We'll deport the criminals, those already known to the justice system. Actually, criminals and illegal immigrants. Some rounded up with the illegal immigrants will be legal immigrants, but it's a price worth paying. Actually, lots of the legal immigrants shouldn't be here, so we'll remove too.
