"Because the Court should not reward the Government’s efforts to erode the rule of law with discretionary equitable relief, I respectfully dissent." - Thank you, Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson!

Ugh. So sad to hear this. Kinda feeling like all of the Old Port should just be a 15mph zone, like we have around schools.

I struggle with cornstarch too! Like, thickening stuff with it? I'm hopeless haha.

Oh yes. Same deep, deep love for this track. Wow, 40 years. Someone told me recently about how Johnny Marr achieved that sound over hours of messing around with his amp and feedback etc. Apparently there's a YouTube all about it, but strangely I sorta want to keep this a mystery for myself.

If you’re a small business thinking of using Instagram for ads, maybe think twice—or be ready for the infinite loop.

At this point, it’s gone from frustrating to almost comedic. I just want to place an ad. Is that too much to ask?

Oh, and the best part? Once the case is closed, I’m completely blocked from responding or asking for clarification. It’s like customer service karaoke: everyone sings the same tune, but nobody actually listens.

The most absurd part? When I demand a supervisor, I finally get one—only to receive a vague email saying I’ve violated the Terms of Service. No explanation, no evidence, just a dismissal and a closed case. End of discussion.

But here’s the kicker: Every single time they say they’re “escalating” my case to an internal team, nothing happens. I’ve had 14 (yes, 14!) cases open, and each one ends with a polite shrug and a dead end. It’s customer service theater at its finest.

Meta has told me repeatedly (and contradictorily):
I violated their Terms of Service.
I did NOT violate their Terms of Service.
Freezing accounts for adding a payment method is “standard.”

Since November 26th, I’ve been trying to run ads on Instagram. What did I do wrong? I added a payment method. That’s it. Apparently, this triggers an automatic freeze on ad accounts.

I talk at length about Michael's article in this week's episode--specifically about his concept of "couldness," the extent to which you *could* do something, without implying that you actually do it. We can all turn up our couldness, if we try.
