Recently started it too. I read reviews saying this was a straightforward story. I'm only a little ways in but I strongly disagree. It's clearly playing with a lot of modern writing conventions. I'm quite enjoying it so far.

Kirk did not believe in empathy. I think to truly honor him as a person, we should feed him to pigs so that his body provides some use. His empathy absent mindset would be pleased with that I'm sure.

Religious mania is a hell of a mental illness. The scariest thing about it is that it can spread and turn into groups of fundamentalists. They then go around doing shit like this and worse in a desperate bid to make literally everyone into a copy of them.

Shortsighted greed coupled with gargantuan hubris. The extremely wealthy sure are doing a lot to convince me that wealth accumulation is a sickness and that they are terminal cases too far gone for saving.

I've noticed that men who want a "trad wife" are typically slovenly twats looking for a mommy to take care of them. They would be unable to care for the household if the woman was the major breadwinner.

I've started doing the same where possible. Not much representation out there in the game space. It's nice to see when it is present. We've been forced to adapt to disability. We've gained strength from that. It feels good to flex that strength from time to time 😁

I do the same with my daughter. I feed her curiosity with honest answers. I even get into granular detail or get her books about things she's very curious about. She's become a very gifted student and artist. I'm very proud of her. Talking to them honestly and respecting their curiosity works!

This sadly mirrors what I figured was the reality. Private prison industry jamming as many heads as possible, as cheaply as possible into inhumane conditions. They will of course charge as if each person was being kept in a 4 star hotel. It's a grift with human suffering as an accepted byproduct.

I'm disabled on ssdi. Those fucks are coming for me regardless of if I'm silent or if I call them asshole fascists online. Elon already referred to folks like me as the parasite class. I never expected to get out of this unscathed, and at worst, alive.
