There are indeed better home made recipes for those; for both of them I'd add mushrooms, caramelize some onions and use butter liberally.

Hamburger helper resembles what we used to call "Spanish Macaroni" which is just mostly a beef bolognaise with macaroni noodles and sometimes cheese. As for the basic ricearoni, I'd say it's based off of a rice pilaf.

I *just* recently beat it again and it was great on the deck. I also beat Ultima Underworld for the first time on it as well; the mouse look QoL patches makes it work like any other fps. I'm looking to beating the second one next.

I've been rocking a lot of old DOS games: Ultima 7, Lands of Lore, Loom, etc. With the extensive button mapping you can get a lot of mileage out of the deck as an emulation system. Using the left trackpad for a radial wheel of actions in old PC games is just perfect.

Quince butter is my favorite thing to make with them! Just slice them up and throw them in a pot on the stove with enough water to cover them and boil. Cook them until soft and they can be mashed/blended in with as much sugar as you'd like. Usually I'll add vanilla as well (no more than a tsp).

Does it smell like flowers? It could be a Quince as it's their time of year to fruit. Usually you cook them down rather than eat em raw like that.

This is everywhere in the Unity engine, and it's not like it makes it more "thread safe" since the majority of the logic runs in a single thread. Just a baffling design decision; I'd love to know the reasoning behind it.

Feels like exactly what happed with E3 before it vanished. "We're making this industry event way too difficult for industry people to attend, so let's OPEN THE FLOOD GATES!"
