No, but he was the direct predecessor and DB were a client of my prior employer at the time. What a guy.

I'd pay €1.4m for a rabbit if it meant I could get rid of Paul Achleitner.

100%. If we're gonna have a shitter of a season, we might as well try and do it with whatever dignity we can muster.

My GP is a friend from the teenage football days, so I kind of lucked out on that one. Let's draw the merciful veil of silence over any kind of previous interactions with GER GPs.

I know some guys who wrangled those from their docs...

...I also know a certain guy who once ended up in a Notaufnahme for similar reasons and I thought they'd hate me for occupying their time with being a total fucking idiot, but one of the male nurses had footie tattooes matching mine so yay...

Fingers crossed it works out (fingers on the other hand crossed for we-all-deserve-Lena-on-medical-grade-amphetamines-rants)

Remember when I said there wasn't much difference between our teams head-to-head and the points difference didn't reflect the quality difference, about 8-9 months ago?

I adore Larkin. And the flipside of how shitscared he was of death is of course that being here is quite cool. Even if casual shaggin began a couple of years after you finished uni.

"We should be careful of each other
we should be kind.
While there is still time."

Not so sure of that, but I'd definitely feel like we got lucky if it got given.

I'm sure he has the lungs - but maybe not the ligaments. And having the lungs also makes you attractive as a "20 minutes of non-stop power pressing" sub.

Love me every Fede-minute we get though.

Klopp also adored Origi, but thought it was best for player and team to use him as super-sub after his injury (of which Chiesa has also had one of course).

I think to some extent it's the curse of being the proven super-sub.

My German team once went 18 months without an away win. We'd sing

We travel far
We travel wide
But we lose
to every side

AWAY THING!

(the normal chant would end with "AWAY WIN!" - but we acted like we forgot what it was called when you don't lose or draw away from home)
