Call me old fashioned but I thought that the purpose of a college education was to become educated. A liberal education should prepare students for an infinite range of opportunities, not for a particular type of job. A university isn’t an advanced technical college, yet it’s the new expectation.

The sad fact is that he probably thinks that he’s doing a good job. He probably thinks that most people admire, even love him. He probably thinks that he’s the greatest President in American history. What he probably thinks just demonstrates how unwell he really is. Will we survive 1187 more days?

With 2 degrees from FSU, one during the Bowden years, I became used to an exciting and winning football program. Times have changed! I wouldn’t want to the decision-maker about football coaches as it’s a national issue. Mike Norvell seems like a first-class man and coach. Hope there’s another way!

Nothing good can come from US meddling in the internal politics of Venezuela or any of its South American neighbors. We have seen this playbook before in Latin America and it never works. It’s been 66 years since the Cuban revolution.
