I’m playing some Wing Commander for SNES and honestly, it feels refreshing to just plug and play the game I loved as a child without having to jump through a command string that doesn’t seem to work for me and just re-enjoy the setting and setup.

I feel like it should be a bigger deal that the Secretary of State has just announced he’s considering selling American citizens into slavery to a foreign country.

Day 6: Best World Building

I’ve gotta go with Fallout New Vegas (Xbox 360), especially with how reactive the Mojave Wasteland is. There is so much lore and history build into every interaction with every faction and deeds shape the world in such a natural way. It’s what makes it top of my RPG list.

Day 5: Game That Deserves A Remake

I would love to see Quest 64 (N64) fully fleshed out and realized. It’s a game I don’t feel really deserves its maligned reputation given the amount of charm it has as well as a pretty fun combat system.

The Thing: Remastered is ESRB rated (expected to stealth drop today)

Day 4:

Game I’m currently playing: Lightning Returns (Xbox 360)

I bought this at midnight on release, played a ton of it, but burnt out because I have just marathoned 13 and 13-2. Started again last year and then got sidetracked. This time, we finish!

This seems fun. I’ll try to keep up with it. My first game was Legend of Zelda (NES). My first memory was sitting next to my dad in my diapy butt holding the second controller while he played, then finally I was able to play it myself and I’ve been playing ever since.

A little holiday treat: One of my 5th grade stories for English. Truly the greatest videogame adaptations of all time.
