I don't have many posts from the old site I care about, but there is one bit of lore worth preserving here: an event that has brought joy to drinkers, confusion to witnesses, and disgust to American food writers. I speak, of course, of the invention of the bone luge.

Ate some amazing bone marrow last night but was too shy to drink a whiskey luge down the bone itself.

I never thought I’d see the words “bone marrow booze luge” together like that, but here we are.
