I couldn't think of any cities besides Seattle since it's baffling that neither St. Louis or Kansas City have an NBA team. Either would be a good choice. Either could be called the Barbecue.

Toni Storm did that promo as part of their fued because everyone knew Mariah May was desperate to work for WWE for whatever reason. Then a few months after their fued ended she showed up on NXT despite still being under contract to AEW as far as anyone knew. They have used her poorly.

Mariah May was thought to be a lock to go to WWE when she left Japan but signed with AEW. Fightful reported over and over that she was trying to quit AEW to go to WWE starting basically immediately after she debuted in AEW.

Given the NBA has a few gambling scandals going on right now and possibly more to follow they may avoid Las Vegas for awhile.

She was so excited to work for WWE that she didn't wait for her contract with AEW to expire to debut for them. That basically means they don't have to do anything with her because she has nowhere to go.

I was really surprised at the time. Orange Cassidy had just recently started being more than just the Best Friends mascot so it sort of came out of nowhere.
