I've been away again and I just wanted to explain why.

Tl;dr : I had an infection in my bowels which caused high fever (39°+C), intense pain and severe dehydration. Was in hospital, I'm feeling better now but still experiencing concerning symptoms.

Will hopefully be better soon 🌿💐

A Discord announcement in vtuber BonnieBeeVT's Discord. The announcement reads:

Hi Beans

I'm alive and okay! Thank you for your love and concern.

I'm feeling a little better now, so I wanted to just give you a quick update about what's going on.

On Tuesday, I became unwell with symptoms I thought were normal (as I've had them before). Unfortunately on Wednesday, I developed a high fever above 39°c (102°f) and was in immense pain. I was admitted to hospital where I was treated for severe dehydration as well. They suspected Infectous Colitis but were ultimately unsure.

My fever finally broke and I'm feeling better, but I'm still experiencing a few concerning symptoms. I'll be going back to the hospital tomorrow to check.

I know it seems like one thing after another. I'm sure you can feel how upset and frustrated I am with everything, but I'm just happy to be here in one piece.

Our 4 year anniversary is this week! I would love some happiness and to celebrate with my Beans, but I'll let you know tomorrow what's happening.

I miss you. Eat some good food for me (I haven't really eaten since Tuesday) and remember to stay curious, stay kind and stay true to yourself!

I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Absolutely feel you 😞❤️‍🩹 it's hard to remember that we can't be our best if we don't rest and treat ourselves properly (and I feel ashamed because others can do things easily that I can't).
It's so disheartening sometimes, but we OWE ourselves care, kindness, and respect.
