eiko ishioka and haruo takino's poster for apocalypse now. a fleet of helicopters fly over roiling waves

the armor in coppola's dracula, designed by eiko ishioka. a full set of horned armor with ribbed lining as if it were hardened tendons

the sleeve, sticker, and side 2 off miles davis' tutu. miles is cast in near-binary contrast on a single light as a red sticker flanks his right, with "miles davis TUTU" in thin symmetrical type. side 2 has a tracklisting and miles' hand in what i think is a G chord, all bathed in a soft pink channel.

i finally looked it up who did the art direction for Miles Davis - Tutu because i have always found it utterly spellbinding and in total contrast to the actual album and this whole time it was Eiko Ishioka. dog that is completely crazy
