I’ve been quiet here for a while because I, too, am navigating the American Healthcare System. South Park nailed my last 5 years.
We are delighted to have South Park back in the news because many times they hit the nail on the head better than anyone.

All Democratic nominees should run on #Medicareforall or leave office. It’s time for courage not consultants.

Bison should be allowed to roam free and cattle should be restricted to private land.
All abandoned barbed wire should be removed from public land.
The money today being wasted on public lands grazing should go into building wildlife overpasses and installing wildlife safe guide fencing.

No. Trump backed down because the markets were crashing. Mexico had already put 10,000 troops at the border in a deal four years ago with Biden, who didn’t have to threaten tariffs to get it.

Medical toxicologist here to confirm: all available, real-world data has proven mifepristone is actually even safer than many over the counter medicines.

Mortality rates:

Mifepristone: 0.65/100,000
Penicillin 2/100K
Viagra 4/100K

Pregnancy in the US: 22/100,000 (some states see rates >60/100K)
FYI
Viagra has more serious side effects than Mifepristone

Mifepristone has a lower risk of side effects than penicillin

So why is it such a big deal to these GOP boys anyway?

I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.
White House pauses all federal grants, sparking confusion
The Trump administration has put a hold on all federal financial grants and loans, affecting tens of billions of dollars in payments.
