Hey there BlueSky friends! Guess what? I'm not doing so hot!

Last Sunday a driver ran a stop sign and utterly destroyed my car and left me in severe pain. I hate begging but I'm forced to do it, so check out my GoFundMe and if you've got the means help a guy out

Cheers,
Van

I promise you, this profession is not going to allow you to recoup any of that value unless you A: Sellout and grift like you were born for it, or B: You randomly fart your way into the common zeitgeist by talking about spitting on a dick or making a funny face or being extra obese or something

Gun-Toting-Maniacs: "If some kids gotta die so that I can haz muh guns to protect against the government pushing their views on me, then so be it!"

*The government pushes their views and authority*

GTM: "Well no, not like that. Only if they push views I don't personally like"

I know it's been said over and over again but I still can't help but be blown away by MAGA's response to this Charlie Kirk thing

If they acted this aggressively every time children are shot in the throat in school then maybe, just maybe we could get somewhere as a country

No one else is brave enough to say it so I will: I'm glad he's dead

I'm of course talking about Hugh Dispenser (the Younger) who died in 1326. Please don't take my celebrations of that evil man's death as being tied to any other evil person's death as that would be irresponsible

The Portland Bangers' new mascot kind of looks familiar to me... did he do that thing where he was born wealthy and never faced any real adversity, constantly getting away with things due to name and status until ultimately receiving a job he wasn't remotely qualified for?

No? It's just a mascot?

How much better would the world be if tech bros who have no artistic talent could somehow just be happy with their own skills?

Once on Twitter I said Trevor Bau*r looked like someone who would say "Timothy McVeigh was just a cool dude who was freedom fighter against the government" and then he sent his army of dogs (fans) after me

Then he pretty much agreed with what I said

This couldn't happen to a better person
What a shame

Recently on a podcast I mentioned Yu-Gi-Oh! despite not knowing a thing about it and our friend/listener (Johnny Radical for those in the know) sent us this card and I can't stop thinking about how awesome it is

Is Yu-Gi-Oh! really great and I don't know it?

This is a great start but there's a long, long way to go with this stuff

In the meantime I implore anyone reading this to please shun the use of AI in any creative sphere and shame those that use it. These tools are trained on the hard work of artists and does not compensate them for it

Dear BlueSky users,

Being a small content creator is insanely difficult. You deal with not only people telling you you're bad because you're not drawing in millions of views or downloads, but also people LOATHE self-promotion when it's done by non-celebrities

Twitter sucks, so it was easy to leave
