I created a Dreamcast-inspired lens filter for my Sony camera. I have to flip it the other way as I make revisions, but the bokeh effect is fun! All in-camera, only converted from RAW.

And Grin's The Unknown looks great with its fisheye lens. This one actually runs really nice too at 10x resolution, which is understandable not often the case.

BC can look equally as nice.

Playing around with xemu for a few minutes, really impressed by the progress. This is a tech demo for Witchblade, which Climax pitched (largely the same assets as the Highlander tech demo), but running at 10x resolution.

Don James, former executive vice president of operations at Nintendo of America, has been elected to the Board of Trustees at The Strong National Museum of Play! So excited to learn from Don over the coming months. He was an absolute joy to work with on our giant Donkey Kong project.

Some more evolution (with some of the same shots). Starting with February 1994 and April 1994, back in the days of Inferno, to CES in June 1994, September 94 that actually loads the VR arcade version by default, Alpha 2 in October 1994, Beta 2 in December, and a final-ish version in April 1995.

A few of the many user interface changes that Descent went through. From February 94, to April 94, to June 94. From the Volition collection at The Strong.

Some temporary music in the October 20, 1994 build, but showing the transition into gameplay.

The "JPDEMO" from July 1994 was even more basic, unsurprisingly.

Even as of the Alpha 2 build of Descent in October 1994, the game's menu still didn't quite resemble its final form. From The Strong.
