Had a cheeky lie in this morning so we were out late for Rocky's morning walk. All the pre-work walkers had gone so we had the big field in Greenbank to ourselves and Rocky had lots of off-lead fun chasing his balls in the sunshine. Happy boi ❤️🌞

I ordered 6 boxes of dog food for the month, as normal. Alas, 4 of them weren't what I ordered so I've just had to pack them up to be returned, supposed to be collected today. It took longer than I thought. I hope my packing is sturdy enough, I'm not a pro at such big boxes. Annoying! 🙄

Out with Rocky, walking up a side street. Two lads putting up some scaffolding, one up high, the other passing him poles from the ground. High up man says "I might need a 21, I might put a fuckin' scragg on it or summit". I looked up and said "put a fuckin' scragg on it". Chuckles all round 🤣

I have just enjoyed the simple pleasure of homemade toast for the first time in yonkers. I treated myself to a toaster recently after using the grill for years to reduce clutter. Sometimes it's the little things, innit. Toast and marmite, where've you been all my life?

I'm still pinching myself after hearing Badenoch saying that some communities are better than others. WTactualF??? By the time I retire, they're just going to round us all up and shoot us, aren't they?

Rocky has had topside of beef for breakfast twice this week and I can't help feeling I'm creating a rod for my own back. He deserves it though.

Logged in to work but my brain was somewhere else so I'm taking the day off. Glad to have a manager that understands. Gonna take Rocky for a nice, long walk - the sun is out now too! (I'm still wearing extra socks though ❄️)

Lovely morning walk today despite the cold. Rocky has seen his pals and had a big old play including some off lead time which is rare in Greenbank these days but the conditions were just right today. He's knackered now - happy tongue out Tuesday!
