The Stranger Things finale is both frustrating and satisfying at the same time.

That’s all I’ll say for now.

What Christmas movie do you rewatch every year?

Paramount: we will do 15 theatrical releases per year and if we get WBD, we’ll do an additional 15 theatrical releases.

Also Paramount: We’re going to put this on streaming next year despite the fact that Paramount + subscriptions have not gone up.

One Battle After Another. The climatic car chase sequence reminded me what was possible with action filmmaking in cinema.

"He had an incredible ability to tap into what millions of people wanted in drama or comedy, never feeling like his movies were merely following a trend as much as satisfying needs we didn’t even know we had,” writes @briantallerico.bsky.social about the late Rob Reiner.

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

Rob Reiner - you and your wife did not deserve this. Absolutely horrible.

Thank you for all your great work in the industry from acting and directing. Spinal Tap, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally…, Misery, A Few Good Men, and The American President were all great films.

Rest in Peace.

As I’ve shared before, the reasons Netflix owning WB being bad are very different than the reasons if Paramount owned it.
It’s a dark time in terms of theatrical runs (and physical media) but at the same time, at least it’s not owned by someone whose father is friends with a fascist.
