I've been working on creating a template that I can use to "showcase" #conlangs in an easily digestible way in which conlangers can find the basic things they look for while non-langers can appreciate some things about it without choking on grammar. Here it is for Valthungian so far:

Not a bad day's work: Six gallons of pear cider, a gallon and a half of wheat beer, and a loaf of sourdough beer bread. It smells heavenly in here! I also made a pint of homemade non-dairy pistachio ice cream, but we ate it, so no picture!

Literally, ‘When gapiča grow on berry bushes’ - pretty much equivalent to "When pigs fly."

LOL I noticed a translation tip for "French Gaelic" on the side... I'm pretty sure what I meant to say was something about "rare dialects of French and Canadian Gaelic" (which are both real things here), but somehow it came out as "French Gaelic or Canadian." 🤣

I don't often food-shame, but this is so bad I have to. This first picture is the spicy tuna roll I ordered from Moxies. The second is what the delivered to me. I don't know what's in all of those plastic containers, but you could try a thousand combinations and it would never be a spicy tuna roll.
