Today marks 49 years since U2 first played together in Larry’s kitchen, & I feel so much gratitude for all the music & memories over the years. 25 years ago when I bought my first U2 Cd at 13, “All That You Can’t Leave Behind,” I never would have guessed where my journey with the band would take me.

I don’t need the context to know your comment on Zappa’s music/political philosophy is just a convenient excuse for you to form a willfully misinformed outlook that reinforces some bias you have.

Not by any standard you’re implying. He actively crusaded against every conservative movement in his lifetime, and was a registered Democrat.
