Chef’s view at the in-laws’ house. Pawpaw (RIP) opened an Italian grocery and grew it into a chain of liquor stores. He imported the bar from a pub in Ireland when he sold the stores to buy the ranch and build this house.

Yes! Folks amplifying this need to understand the source. Also I don’t think she’s been “missing.” She held a reunion and farewell for current and former staff this Fall…
This viral story is from the Dallas Express, a far-right outlet that’s poses as a nonpartisan newspaper and that is owned by a Texas billionaire who attended and defended Jan. 6.
A U.S. Congresswoman disappeared for the last six months of her term. Nobody noticed.

Turns out she's in a memory care unit, & her staff (and apparently other people?) covered it up (though she was somehow propped up for an event a month ago?)

WILD story

It’s an immoral system built
on the immoral premise that cruelty is justified solely by a person’s place of birth. Nobody, D or R, should find it acceptable to put a mother and four kids (including two infants) on a plane to an unfamiliar place with no resources. How can we collectively stand this?
It’s too bad there’s apparently no Democrat executive right now.

This, btw, proves that coming for birthright citizenship is not an academic exercise. Maybe SCOTUS won’t allow it, but in that meantime, real people will suffer.

Can we troll @americanair.bsky.social on here yet? Two hours late because the plane had too much fuel in it. No drinks, no food, crappy updates. Airline deregulation is a scam.

Despicable bigotry and fear-mongering from craven and opportunistic politicians.
Speaker Mike Johnson said single-sex facilities in the U.S. Capitol and House office buildings would be available only to those of that biological sex, backing a move from Representative Nancy Mace to target Representative-elect Sarah McBride, the first openly transgender person elected to Congress.
Speaker Mike Johnson Says He Will Ban Transgender Women From Capitol Bathrooms
The G.O.P. speaker sided with hard-right members of his conference who called for blocking Representative-elect Sarah McBride, the first transgender member of Congress, from using Capitol women’s room...

How about taking down the wellness industrial complex instead? The way Oz and his influencer buddies prey on vulnerable, desperately ill people is evil. “Sorry, Medicare no longer covers your dialysis but here’s a coupon for discounted detox pills. They have kidney supporting properties!”
President-elect Trump will nominate Dr. Mehmet Oz to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Trump said that Oz would “work closely with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to take on the illness industrial complex.” nyti.ms/3Cuawvh

Blue state governors are stepping up. Now Democratic leaders of blue cities and counties in red states need to do the same. Millions of residents are depending on you for protection.
I am still grasping for what protections, if any, my blue county in TX plans to provide. I’m stuck in permanent fight or flight mode with 4 spec needs kids & 3 dogs. Not knowing how much time I legitimately have b4 potential military/surveillance/unable to leave state occurs has me frozen in place.
