oh sweet! Normally I’d have tix to offer you, but I think I’ve handed out all my spares already. If you’re looking for a tailgate beforehand, there’s a good crew across MLK I’ll be at. Message me for deets if you want.

I’ve watched a good bit of what he’s put out over the years, and he’s undeniably talented, and very consistent at producing incredible tv.

This show has the potential to be The One, though, and that’s really saying something given what he’s done before.

I’m not *sure* “Abraham Licoln vs. Zombies” qualifies, but let’s give it an honorable mention at least

I had *high* hopes to finish my current book and start this one today. It was a fool’s errand, but it was a nice dream!

The ridiculous thing is that “that’s the dumbest possible thing anyone could do!” is now, like, validating proof it’s real.

Love the experience of paying 2x the initial principal of your student loan only to find you now have 3x the initial in remaining balance due? Let’s try that for a *really* rapidly depreciating asset!

this is a good point, and only goes to prove it’s suspect when women are out there demanding a man taller than our Lord and Savior.
November 10, 2025 at 11:10 PM
oh wow, I love everything about this place. That kitchen pit!

only tangentially related, but we looked at an office in the same building as this school recently (didn’t end up taking it). Something weird about “my school? Oh, it’s in the historic office building in the floor between the Fuzzy Taco and some startups”
November 6, 2025 at 1:32 AM

November 4, 2025 at 3:56 AM
everything looks so beautiful at night (and traffic is *much* easier to spot)!

Two years ago is wild to me somehow, because it means I’m already overdue for a re-read, and the story is still fresh in my mind (read it shortly after it came out).

I think my first XC solo is still my favorite thing, but night flying is absolutely delightful!
