I am hosting two events on vibe coding this month. I hosted one last month with 30 guests. This brings me so much joy since I live far away from any tech city and still able to guide folks from around the world ❤️

I am hosting an Intro to vibe-coding with #ClaudeCode 🤖 🚀 lu.ma/qhimankc

If you do not use the Terminal app 😐 do not worry. We are going to look at what is so different about working in the Terminal, use Claude Code and build a one-pager website using Astro 🤩 (a framework for content websites).

The funniest thing about SaaS right now is that they will literally charge you extra by slapping "AI" on their product but will tell the customer that they can't build with AI themselves - yeah that's where the AI comes in.

Why else is the SaaS bolting AI on to everything?

#SaaS is dead

Software used to be different. I'm old enough to know this. People used to actually take the effort to host themselves. This was as natural as millions of people who build or maintain their homes or cars.

#SaaS is #dead...

Hey @gaeldemondragon.com, I just came across yesRamen and saw it will be shut down. It seems to look good and with a good community. Have you written about why you are shutting it down? Curious as a founder, thanks

If you are a founder, or have an idea: What is the problem you want to focus in? Are you talking to potential customers? Now is the time to focus more on markets, users. Getting a prototype is getting easier than ever.

30 days, 552 Million tokens, #ClaudeCode with #Sonnet. 5-6 projects, all AI generated, using GitHub for code hosting, project management, and CI/CD. All done via mostly Claude Code, sometimes Gemini CLI. Using $20/month Claude Pro subscription.

#vibecoding has made me a product manager. I focus on tickets on GitHub. LLMs are good at certain tasks and how your break down your tickets makes a lot of difference.

With #vibecoding, more and more people will build their specific solution instead of using existing software - this will hit micro SaaS hard. You need a business case around Stripe? Build it. You need a data importer to Airtable? Build it.

As we learn how to build better, more people will do it.

Been trying a bunch of vibe coding tools last few days. Claude Code and Google Jules are giving good results. Had to give little guidance where logic was complicated. but I feel we can get a basic app generated without technical hand holding. We get access to generated code; can host anywhere.

Vibe coding will bring more faith to humanity: we prompt and then pray for code to actually work.

I was very geeky as a kid, grew up with science fiction. Now, some of those ideas are here. Yet, it does not feel like progress as I thought would happen.

What I did not understand then is that the rich are greedy. They will maintain control; influence politics. They will not help empower everyone.

Our product, Pixlie, is close to initial launch. I want to share our approach to typed interface with LLMs.

Pixlie generates TypeScript types (from Rust) and that's mostly the prompt. Results are parsed with original types. Using Claude Haiku.

It's been almost four years since I moved away from a city life to a lovely slow life in this beautiful village in eastern Himalayas ☺️🏔️❤️🌻

A healthy life is as addictive as an unhealthy one, just that it takes a different approach.

Excited to see @pixlie.com project board being beefed out. @brainless.in is doing some amazing work.

Now only to convince the developers in my life to contribute or quickly learn myself 😝
