The crushing existential dread in that brief pause between waking and coffee when I acknowledge we are slaves to capitalism and there is no escape. When you get too close to the goalposts, they move them back. If your existence wasn't dependent on mere survival, how would you spend your life?

Me when I say I somewhat empathize with MAGA supporters because they are largely uneducated working-class citizens who were psychologically manipulated into joining a cult. They have been brainwashed to the point where cognitive dissonance prevents them from recognizing the facts in front of them.
