It's a great week to go to the library (though every week is) and check out a banned book!! www.ala.org/bbooks
Two stickers and one bookmark. All three have the word censorship crossed out then is so 1984. Below that is Read for your rights!

I've been thinking about this one for a bit. There's some fun folkloric stuff here in Michigan that I really dig. But...I think I prefer the made up, invented kind. Something about an author putting their fears or feelings into their own thing feels more real and raw to me.

Listen to the Symposium’s finest vocalist, as their tenor bends the living into unnatural angles and swivels them into the air! Tell us, what ghosts do you prefer? Of the folkloric tradition, or those invented by authors? And why?
#HorrorWritersChat
Question Three

Art by Jelle Husson, featuring a haunted monastery of many sharp-tipped towers scraping at the midnight sky. The largest is in the centre of the structure’s roof, whose walls are painted white. The monastery is located above a hilly terrain of dark stone and dark green moss. A stony, twisting road leads to the monastery.

It is always a delight to see our violinists perform! How the living bend their splintering bones as they float above us all! Tell us, our ghostly compatriots – which of us are better? Of the folkloric kind? Or invented by our shadowy creators?

Hmm, I think I really like more modern haunts. We've seen plenty of gothic manors. Give me malls, office buildings, department stores. And, probably, my top choice: amusement parks! I love seeing something usually full of happiness and joy converted to creepiness and fear!

Now, let us begin! Let the flutes bleat and the trumps blare, snatching all the souls of the living away! What are your favourite haunts? Mausoleums? Lavish estates? What secrets do their wraiths protect within?

Ah, the performance has begun! Behold the souls of the living darting into the flutes and trumpets! Now, as you sip your ectoplasmic wine, tell us – what are your favourite locations for ghosts? And why?

Hi all!! I write goofy cartoon horror from the arcade in the corner of that dying mall you used to go to when you were a teen. I think my wraithful visage for tonight would probably be that Green Goblin truck from Maximum Overdrive, or maybe that brain thing from Psycho Goreman.

Be welcomed to the ethereal music hall! A stringed aperitif is in order… do tell the Symposium what do you write, from where… and what IS, indeed, your wraithful visage for tonight?

Question One

Come in, come in! The Phantasmal Symposium has just begun! Settle in the ruined music hall, and tell us – what do you write, from where, and in what ghostly visage have you arrived at our askewed doorstep?

What an absolutely amazing review of ...And Out Come the Toys!!! It made me so happy to read it!! Also, it was a ton of fun coming up with death scenes in a toy factory, so it's pretty awesome to see it sticking with people.

...And Out Come the Toys is an absolute blast. It has great pacing, and there are gruesome scenes that actually shocked me. I knew there would be death but I didn't expect them to be so brutal. I loved how creative the deaths were and loved that the narration doesn't flinch. You get details, I promise. Typically, it's easy to watch characters get tortured because there is no reason to care. In this story, you do actually learn about the characters and they really are just a group of friends trying to have one last hurrah before being separated by life. There was genuine dread when I read this book because I did care for these kids.

Hi yall
Full transparency, I talk about how I don’t tour internationally cause of all the cost of touring
Even when most of our cost are covered, unexpected shit like our plane detouring 12 hours to SFO makes us have to rebook trains and lodging
We threw shirts up, help if you can
JER giving a thumbs up on a mirror selfie wearing a mask. You can see the 30 hours of no sleep in their eyes Picture of the tv screen on the plane. The flight map shows the plane flying from Chicago, turning around over Alaska, and going to San Francisco Screen shot of the tune it out shirt on the skatune stor
