Twins claimed IF/OF Vidal Bruján off waivers from the Braves and designated C/1B Mickey Gasper for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.

Bruján was once a top-100 prospect in the Rays' system, but is now 27 and has hit just .199 in 261 games for five different MLB teams.
