After a little digging, #SecondLIfe are running multiple AI ad campaigns, active right now.

Seeing influx of this a lot.. But uh do NOT have NSFW images at all in your profile. Even in picks. No where on your profile. You can get kicked by LL, if someone decides that they do not like you & decide to abuse report you. It's often a petty move but it works.

Linden Lab has laid off members of Governance, as well as Alexa Linden.

These are from the BIRD site. Looks like Linden Labs is laying off some workers. Alexa is a shocker to me, 17 years into a 21-year-old company. That's a huge swing to me.

General #secondlife reminder, It's important to remember that 2048 is Four times as big as 1024, so it should be used sparingly wherever possible, that's why the upload fee is more. Entire buildings can and probably should be 2048, but something small like a bikini or handheld item, not so much.

Ok so, I WAS excited for that new Flickr replacement platform that Luke Rowley was working on for Second Life users... but they backtracked on their policy against AI ads and images, so I will no longer be advertising or encouraging anyone to join it. 😂 Deleted my posts. Sorry!

I love how insular the Second Life community is. People say the craziest shit without realizing how they look to the outside world. Right now there are people in the forums having a meltdown because they can't have naked child avatars anymore. You couldn't make this shit up.
