First of all, there are few - if at all - substances that have been scrutinized as thoroughly as food contact polymers.
Secondly, regarding microplastics in general, plastics are known to be < than 1% of all substances. I would be significantly more worried about the ingestion of the remaining 99%

And are you in someway suffering from it? I would guess not.. the micro and nano particle discussion is unfortunately strongly exaggerated and based on feelings rather than on facts.
