The air raid alarm continues to be switched off in more regions. Calm finally descends over Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine.

The drone attack in Kyiv is over.
Some expect Iskander-K cruise missiles to follow as is often the case, but I'm hoping the whole attack is over.

It's been a traumatic night for Kyiv. Confirmation one side of the city is without power - and this is the moment it happened:

A ninth person has required medical treatment in Kyiv, and more injuries may have happened in the Desnianskyi district after the latest blast

Here, a flavour of what it was like in Kyiv during the height of the ballistic attack. And this was clearly not too near the attack site

Back to Kyiv and reports that the remains of one drone were found in the grounds of a hospital. It did not explode and there was no fire.

Elsewhere, part of the city still glows after the hit on power facilities earlier.
Some in the capital have no water after the attack.

Dnipro was also hit repeatedly earlier.
There are some power outages there, but as always officials there are always slow to release any information.

One Russian drone brought down fell, virtually intact, in someone's yard.

There is a huge fire at the site of one impact.

The entire left bank of Kyiv is thought to be without power after a Russian strike on power infrastructure.

The injury count in Ukraine's capital has risen to 8, with five in hospital.

More explosions in Kyiv as ballistic missiles again target the capital.

It's not clear yet if the missiles struck targets or were taken down.

In Zaporizhzhia, a 7 year old child and a woman aged 45, are seriously injured in a Russian attack.

In total three people were wounded.

There have been a number of explosions in the city and environs.

Injuries are reported in the Obolon district of Kyiv.

Mayor @Vitaliy_Klychko now says 5 people have been injured across Ukriane's capital. Only one (in Pechersk) has needed to be admitted to hospital.

More ballistic missiles are believed to be flying from Russia.

The fire in Brovary could be due to falling metal from a missile shoot down.

Just outside of Kyiv, there are also problems in Brovary.

A private house and a mini-market building are on fire thee. No injuries have been reported.

First news of injuries and damage in Kyiv and Kyiv region too.

Two people are wounded after a hit on a tower block in the central Pechersk district of the city.
The 6th and 7th floors are on fire.

Krasnodar is the only Russian airport shut so far tonight, and it's been closed for almost 3 hours already.

However, there doesn't seem to be much threat there, or indeed anywhere in Russia right now.

Kyiv remains under an air raid warning - just a couple remaining outside the city, but air defence just shot down another in the capital.

Everything sounds louder because lower cloud 'traps' the sound and also because shoot-downs are happening lower.

There have already been almost 200 attack drones fired by Russia tonight.

Here's the map of drone movement as of 25 minutes ago. Now the biggest danger has passed to Kremenchuk and Dnipro.
