Most of my work is multimedia. I call this one Opioid People Trap. It's inspired by the opioid crisis and the way my mother hoarded painkillers. These are a small fraction of the pills leftover from her death, all painted with nail polish. #ArtAdventCalendar #Day3 #grief #healing

I've never thought of myself as an adrenaline junkie, but when we visited Iceland in September I kept thinking how sad it was that there were never going to be any bears on the trail. Like this bear that followed us for a while outside of Valdez, AK.

This is a photo a friend's sister in CT took off her front walk. Not gonna lie. I'm a little envious. The only critters that eat my pumpkins are squirrels and chipmunks.

(One of my partner's coworkers made me rat hole cookie cutters last year. This is the smaller one which is less practical and I plan to make it into a Christmas ornament this year.)

My partner dragged this thing out of an alley and has refinished it. This was halfway through.

I've always loved him. That said, my favorite film (aside from the flashback sequence which is painful) is Casablanca. I'd watch it just for the lighting and cinematography.

One of the great things about visiting new places is seeing how the clouds form differently. Yesterday, which happened to be #CloudAppreciationDay on BlueSky, Iceland showed how it likes to have 2 different weather systems going at the same time.

Clouds can really add some dynamic oomph to an already impressive sight. This is Snæfellsjokull in Iceland. #CloudAppreciationDay
