I don’t watch much television, but my favorite TV shows/straight to streaming movies of 2025 are (1) Heated Rivalry (for *immaculate* vibes and open gay horniness in a repressive period), (2) the HBO version of Jerusalem’s Lot, and (3) the X-mas episode of Bob’s Burgers.

I’m generally opposed to artistic boycotts of artists, art institutions, and art platforms of any sort. It would be a shame to see MUBI damaged because of the investment practices of a financial partner. I think that’s a rather tenuous basis for a boycott in any event.

I can testify that this ban works. The paper bags that the stores offer are so thin and shitty that I now keep reusable bags in my car trunk at all times.
