And a big part of convincing us it is harmless is justifying that it is actually for our safety and that anyone questioning that is a paranoid conspiracy-theory loon. But as soon as it is put to the test, you can see what has been claimed for why these things are everywhere, simply don't hold water.

The neat trick of Western capitalist liberal democracy is it makes people so comfortable+ relaxed, to the point they don't think they are being watched at all, all the while slowly mass surveillance infrastructure has been developed to watch us without us noticing or accepting it is harmless.

Long COVID symptoms can last a long time. Years. Even after a mild bout of acute COVID.
Long COVID sucks.
If you don’t get COVID you can’t get long COVID.
So don’t get COVID.
Get vaccinated.
Wear an N95.
Clean the air we all breathe.

Researchers: Not testing for Covid-19 is creating problems
People have become sicker after the pandemic, but without Covid-19 testing it's difficult to understand why.

Do you know the name of the medication? My friend is trying nattokinase but has no idea if it’s doing anything.

My friend did this. She went to her doctor with a concise list of her main symptoms, accompanied by a few printouts of LC studies to illustrate.

She was told “Long Covid isn’t really a thing. I’ve only seen a couple of cases in all my patients. Stop worrying and you’ll be fine.”

I don’t think so; in fact, one of the owners asked about it and the vet said no. Each of the vets seemed flummoxed, apparently.

It is very sad and the owners are distraught. 😩

All animals had some outdoor access but in the case of the dogs, always under supervision during walks.

Thanks for taking the time to explain some of the possible causes. 😊

The youngest dog and the cat were from the same household. In this case, the cat got sick first followed by the dog a couple of weeks later. Interestingly, this household also has another dog, age 7, that is perfectly healthy. It’s all rather perplexing.

Three were dogs: ages 1, 4, and 7. The cat was 5 years old. All the issues were seemingly out of the blue, with the animals becoming sick and having to be put down within just a few weeks of onset.

Some of my coworkers have also mentioned illness among their pets.
