That's hard. I had to stop working earlier this year but when I was, I often had to remind myself I liked writing- the amount of work writing takes on top of a day job was be overwhelming for me. Glad it can still bring you a sense of wonder :)

To be honest, migraines/insomnia can make it difficult for me to write! If I'm well, I'm usually motivated to put words down. I work through by this practicing more selfcare than I can be bothered with and very luckily, I am able to regularly practice that self care

I was inspired when I heard the line: "...it was like being set adrift in a sea where I couldn’t drown, where all the monsters lurking in the depths rather liked me and wouldn’t upset my little craft,' in The Chosen and the Beautiful by Nghi Vo.

One simple image spiraled into an entire novel!
